    First impressions count

Your door is the first thing you see when you arrive home. It sets the tone for your property and is as individual as you are. Whether you're looking for a statement composite front door, elegant French doors, or space-transforming bi-folds, we have the solution for you.

Composite doors start from around £850 fitted for basic models, with premium custom options up to £4,500. Bi-fold doors range from £2,500 (uPVC) to £5,500 (aluminium) for a standard 3-panel configuration. All our door systems are fully compatible with our window ranges for a consistent finish throughout your home.

Which door type is right for you?

Not sure which style suits your home? Here's a quick comparison to help you decide:

    • Composite doors — best for front and back doors. Solid core, excellent security (PAS24), huge design range. From £850 fitted. Ideal for: every home
    • French doors — double-opening doors that bring light and garden access. From £1,200 fitted. Ideal for: living rooms, kitchens opening onto patios
    • Sliding patio doors — large glass panels that slide on a track, saving space. From £1,500 fitted. Ideal for: smaller patios, balconies, modern homes
    • Bi-fold doors — concertina panels that fold back to fully open a wall. From £2,500 fitted. Ideal for: extensions, kitchen-diners, open-plan living
    • Stable doors — split horizontally so the top opens independently. From £950 fitted. Ideal for: kitchens, country-style homes, pet owners
    • Entrance doors — oversized or architectural front doors for a grand statement. From £1,800 fitted. Ideal for: detached homes, new builds

    Energy efficiency and thermal performance

A poorly insulated door can lose as much heat as a single-glazed window. All of our doors are designed to meet or exceed current Building Regulations (Part L) for thermal performance, helping you reduce energy bills and keep your home comfortable year-round.

Thermal performance is measured by U-value — the lower the number, the less heat escapes. Here's how our door types compare:

    • Composite doors: U-value 1.0–1.4 W/m²K (solid insulated core, no cold bridging)
    • uPVC panel doors: U-value 1.2–1.6 W/m²K (multi-chamber profile with reinforcement)
    • Bi-fold doors (aluminium): U-value 1.3–1.5 W/m²K (thermally broken aluminium with double or triple glazing)
    • French & patio doors: U-value 1.2–1.4 W/m²K (argon-filled double glazing as standard, triple glazing available)
    • For context, an old wooden door typically has a U-value of 3.0+ W/m²K — our doors are at least twice as efficient
    • All energy-efficient door installations qualify for 0% VAT, saving you hundreds of pounds

    Security you can trust

Every door we install features advanced multi-point locking systems, reinforced frames, and high-security hinges. Our composite doors are tested to PAS 24 security standards — the police-approved specification — giving you and your family complete peace of mind.

    • Multi-point locking as standard on all doors
    • Anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-pick cylinder locks
    • Reinforced frames and dog-bolt hinges
    • PAS 24 security tested and police-approved
    • Insurance-approved specifications
    • 30+ year lifespan on composite doors
Premium chrome multi-point door lock and handle detail

Could you get funding for new doors?

If your household income is under £32,000 and you own your home in Greater Manchester or Lancashire, you may qualify for up to £2,000 towards essential door replacements through the Local Residents Scheme.

The scheme covers doors that are draughty, damaged, or no longer secure — exactly the kind of replacements that improve both comfort and safety. We handle the paperwork and coordinate the installation, so there's no hassle on your end.

    Warranties and guarantees

Every door installation comes with comprehensive warranty cover, giving you long-term peace of mind:

    • Composite doors: 10-year manufacturer warranty on the door slab, frame, and hardware. Covers warping, discolouration, and delamination
    • uPVC doors: 10-year warranty on profile, glazing units, and hardware
    • Aluminium bi-folds: 10-year warranty on frames, 5-year warranty on moving parts and rollers
    • Glazing units: 10-year warranty against seal failure, misting, or argon gas leakage
    • Locks and hardware: 5–10 year warranty depending on the manufacturer
    • Installation guarantee: our own workmanship guarantee covers fitting, sealing, and finishing
    • FENSA registered: every installation is certified and building-control compliant

    Frequently asked questions

    Common questions about door replacement:

    • How long does installation take? — A single composite front door takes 2–4 hours. French or patio doors take half a day. Bi-fold doors typically take a full day. We remove and dispose of your old door as part of the service
    • Do I need planning permission? — No, in most cases. Replacing like-for-like doors is permitted development. If you live in a conservation area or listed building, check with your council before making changes to the front elevation
    • What's the difference between composite and uPVC? — Composite doors have a solid insulated core (usually polyurethane foam) with a GRP skin — they're heavier, more secure, and better insulated. uPVC doors are lighter and cheaper but less robust. For front doors, we almost always recommend composite
    • Can I match my doors to my windows? — Yes. All our door and window systems share the same colour range, including dual-colour options (e.g. anthracite grey outside, white inside)
    • What happens to my old doors? — We remove and responsibly dispose of all old doors and frames. uPVC is recycled wherever possible
    • Do you install in flats or apartments? — We primarily install in houses, but can quote for ground-floor flats with direct external access. Communal entrance doors are not in our scope
